The Slippery Rogues
"Look at that crowd fighting over there! What a perfect moment to use the ultimate of stealth and slip up onto one of those distracted creatures!"

Lord Rogues and Assassins can now enjoy some new toy - Slip and Disengage (the latter for Rogues only). These skills are based on the ability of rogues to sneak in and out of a combat, with a purpose.
Strange happenings are marring the final resting place of those who helped to build and defend Midgaard's Great Wall. Be sure to visit and pay your respects, but beware of the evil taint that is taking hold of the area.

Avatar's 13th anniversary is coming up soon. Can you believe it's been that long already? We're still going strong, thanks to each and every one of you. Of course, our birthday means that we have our anniversary week from August 3rd to the 10th.
Expect HoGs (both announced and unannounced) and Boons coming your way! Be on the look out for spontaneous outbursts of Blackjack, Deck of Many Things, and more awesome games. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elomecla, who lost her battle with cancer on Saturday June 21, 2008. Elomecla (also known as: Shawna, Werrall, and Elayne) was a pillar of the Avatar community, whose kindness and willingness to help brought many smiles to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her and all whose lives she touched. Whatever your beliefs, please hold her father and brother in your hearts as they grieve through this difficult time.
