A gust of wind causes leaves to whisper to each other.
In the Meadow, Nom lifts his head and looks up at the Tree of Knowledge, but no breeze moves those mighty boughs.
Peering out of the back door of Stonehall, Sol is puzzled by the stillness of the oaks.
Floating above the Wildwood, Zin raises an eyebrow at the motionless canopy below. Then he raises his head and sniffs the air. "Ah," he murmers to himself. "It has returned."
It is the wind of time which blows, and it blows through the leaves of the World Tree. It stirs the past and brings the scent of the future. Once there was a forest, Hoan-Dor, and in that forest was a shadowed grove which guarded a High Tower. That tower was home to practitioners of Sorcery and some of the greatest magicians of the ages walked its hallowed halls. Then, as magical things are wont to do, it vanished and left but an echo behind.
Now though, for those who know the right paths and know how to look amongst the leaves, where the ancient towering trees grow in peace, a path can be found to this fabled academy, accessable once more... Can you find the tower known as... Arcana Excelsis?
