Newbie Tip
Take the time to read room and mob descriptions carefully. There are often hints which give clues about hidden items, quests or warnings about particularly dangerous areas. - Riviat

Christmas isn't about keeping score. It's not about how many friends you
have or how accepted you are. Not about if you have great plans for the
holidays, or whether you'll spend them alone. It isn't about whom you're
dating, whom you used to date, how many people you've dated, or whether
you've been with anyone at all.

It isn't about who your family is, or how much money they have, or what
kind of car you drive. It isn't about where you are sent to school. It's
not about how beautiful or ugly you are. Or what clothes you wear, what
shoes you have on, or what kind of music you listen to.

It's not about being blonde, red, black, or brown haired, or whether your
skin is light or dark. Not about what grades you get, how smart you are,
how smart everybody else thinks you are, or how smart standardized tests
say you are.

It's not about what clubs you're in or how good you are at "your" sport.
It's not about representing your whole being on a piece of paper and
Seeing who will "accept the written you."

Christmas is about whom you love..... and whom you hurt.

It's about whom you make happy or unhappy purposefully. It's about
keeping faith and never betraying trust. Its about friendship, used as
sanctity and not as a weapon. It's about what you say and mean, may it be
heartening and not hurtful. It's about avoiding rumors and not
contributing to petty gossip. It's about what judgments you pass and why.
And who your judgments are spread to. It's about whom you've ignored with
full control and intention; and how you intend to patch things up. It's
the opposite of jealousy, fear, ignorance, and revenge. It's about
extinguishing inner hate and cultivating love, letting it grow, and
spreading it.

But most of all, it's about using your life to touch other people's hearts
in such a way that could have never occurred alone. Only you choose the
way those hearts are affected, and those choices are what Christmas is all
about.

     ________________________________

To me, helping other players is not wrong if you help them in the RIGHT way.
If the CR is not in an aggie area or room, try to walk them back, it helps a
lot, trust me. I like to give spellups, and maybe I give more than I should.
It all depends on what mood I am in when you ask me. When they ask for a
piece of eq, maybe it's better to tell them what area then give them flat
out directions or transport them there, because what happens when they need
another of the same item? Or, maybe you can walk them somewhere, slowly,
pointing out "landmarks" along the way to help them remember how to get
there. If they ask for eq, you can walk them as well, or give them general
hints and tag along when they get confused or need minor assistance. About
spell ups... Instead of giving them a spellup, you could show them how to
tank and WHERE to tank with how many groupies so they don't need any, or you
can send them in a general direction to get potions or the like. The more
self sufficent the player is made now, the more easier it will be for them
later on.
