when I coded zombiefest, it was to see if I could somehow spread a disease ala zombie through combat. the ultimate goal was to create a werewolf or vampire system. the groundwork is there...feel free to use it as a starting point.

would be cool if having a spot on help highest(also just being help highest but not on the list) would give you a certain insignia of some kind something not that twink but desirable, that would give new meaning to help highest and would make more ppl go for the spot, making it more of a challange an a kind of quest if you like :)

concerning last idea: obviously you would lose the insignia as soon as someone else took your place on help highest

not really against it, but ... help highest is not updated when a char levels and is not that easily analyzable codewise. It would require changing of the whole system.

so you want a spell that does the same damage as disint, is a sort of clone of torch, has a chance to stun the mobs and costs less mana. Amazing.

grant death info to priests at level 25, and paladins at 20 when they gain gurney and mercy. there may not be many crs that can be done at that level, but with the spells it wouldn't be wrong to let them help lower level people with corpse retrieving.
