Merck found Avatar too long ago. Avatar found Merck more recently. Merck's first character was a short lived troll ranger.
His next character was a human mage of many incarnations.
He mainly plays lord level characters, and that is his niche in the scheme of the world of Avatar.

Merck is one of the lord liaisons. What that means is he passes
information from the staff to the players and from the players
to the staff. He is support staff, and an ideas person. If you have a concern or an issue he is usually available to address it, or to pass it on to those who can better address it.

Merck can be reached via notes or tells. If he tells you he is
busy then it probably isn't a good time to send a tell. He can also be reached via email.
