Not all classes are available at character creation?
Experienced players can choose to remort their character into another class. To see which ones are avalaible refer to the compendia section on Remort Classes
For more information on how to become one of those classes. please see the in-game command HELP REMORT.
These classes are rare but are available to all characters which meet the necessary rebuild requirements.
Observant players may have also noticed the Ranger class.
Rangers used to be an available class at character creation but the class has been deemed to need modification/revamping. Existing Rangers are still playable, you just can't create one as a new character.
What are the prestige classes?
The prestige classes currently available are listed in the compendia section on Prestige Classesk.
The requirements for becoming a prestige class are secret. For a bit more information on the design of these classes read HELP PRC DESIGN.
And remember, once you choose one of these classes, there is no going back.
How do I find out more information about a specific class?
Typing HELP in-game will display the relevant helpfile for that class. Or, look the class up section onClasses on this website
To see the helpfile for Rogues, you would type HELP ROGUE.
