what about different weather conditions on other planes? worse thunderstorms, maybe even a chance of lightning striking players each tick, or extreme cold that hinders regen.

It should affect lots of stuff. however, we should create/change how and what it means to be slowed down or even immobilized within the game. I could go on but it quickly becomes nutty and I'll just leave web/disarm how it is for now.

it takes way too long to drown...you can't communicate except prayr..and you are sitting there..waiting to die..so you can cr yourself.....kind of annoying..its been 5 minutes and I am still not dead.....

Mobs that "change" at nighttime. Obvious example is werewolves and other lycanthropes, but could include others. Would create a more noticable distinction between daytime and nighttime in the realm, and give builders an extra layer of depth they could use in their areas

maybe after day/night is slowed down.

Scrolls and spellbooks at the moment are unusually lacking in power - by this I mean that they do -considerably- less power than the spell cast by an equivalent level caster. This renders them useless, which is a shame. Any chance of looking at the way they work to make them more useful to players?

they're useless if you know the spell. they're not if you don't.

i sent this to boa 5, but got no viable response. After I hit hero 101 i practiced fast healing ii. Before I practiced it I regenned 19hp/tic, after 18hp/tic. Nothing else has changed (same gear, same stats, same everything).

I saw that. Ignored unless it can be duplicated by others. I'll assume user error otherwise. Nothing personal but I won't spend 5 hours staring at code which looks good to me in search for something which may not really be a bug. If it's a bug that can be verified, then I will spend however long it takes to fix.

per Roxy's idea...create a "ritual lock" on planeshift. Example: to open the lock to Earthrealm from thorngate, 4 lords must ritual it open, at which point planeshift acts as normal to earthrealm for 5 tics. 8 lords to unlock Karnath. no lock when shifting to thorngate from another plane...so no ritual needed to come home...adds an interesting twist to planeshift and limits group sizes per this thread on

no for now. I'd rather mobs simply evaluate the size of your group and possibly alter their response -or- make mobs a little harder to hit so that they last longer and have more time to pound on people who can't rescue. Notice nothing here is approved so do not quote me as saying this is how it will be.

How about a 'stat' command which we can use to see the stats of an item a shopkeeper is selling. Makes sense that they would tell you about an item if they're trying to sell it.

the key for the northern door in this room is on the otherside of the locked door. Seems like it should be on the mob in this room. The door is bashproof/passproof but you can pick the lock. I suppose this could be intended. Maybe it was when they area went in and every joe could pick locks as well as rogues.
